Friday Links: Super Bowl Recipes

NachosIt’s the Friday before the Super Bowl and in my house, that means things are heating up in the kitchen. Pulled pork, a 6 foot sub and that all-American favorite, chicken wings. Check out these crowd-pleasing recipes and have fun watching the commercials, the half-time show and the game.

  • These chicken wings are tossed in egg whites, baking soda and salt before baking for an extra crispy skin. No frying! Don’t forget to make plenty of blue cheese dip.
  • How about a heaping platter of nachos? Load ’em up and layer the ingredients so you get goodie in every bite.
  • It doesn’t get much easier than making pulled pork in your slow cooker. Some fresh buns and coleslaw go perfectly with the finished product.
  • Don’t forget dessert. Mini cupcakes are the perfect thing to eat when you’re sitting in front of the big screen. Decorate them with your team’s colors.

  1. I hope the super bowl has been a big success and that your favourite team one, that the commercials were worth watching and there were no wardrobe malfunctions during the half-time entertainment xx
